Integrating shipping containers as a base for your structure can provide added storage, height and security. Ideal for industrial applications with concerns around abrasion or hot works.
Container top structures work well when clients need the additional storage provided by the containers or when the containers provide a degree of security or protection from interior works. Not always cost-effective due to the need for engineered I-beams to distribute the structure loading.
This client’s 40′ x 60′ HighPro Container Top warehouse structure was designed for a long term infrastructure project that required space for storage, repairs and staff space. The containers provided secure storage in addition to the tented cover.
This image provides an interior view of a 40′ x 60′ HighPro Container Top workshop structure that was designed to sit to the outer edge of the containers, providing added storage on top of the container roof. Translucent fabric means good daylight brightness and lower lighting requirments.
One of our traditional roll-form container top roof structures in a 30′ x 70′ arch profile set to the interior edge of the containers. Weight is distributed via a steel I-beam to the corner columns of the containers.
Container top roof framing is available in different width, length and height configurations. Optional gable ends with doors and entryways. Can be mounted on the interior or exterior edge of the containers.
